The 2015 Redwood 38GK is a luxury fifth wheel designed around a spacious residential-style interior with generous living, kitchen, bedroom, and storage areas. Designed as a Four Seasons RV, the Redwood is built with extended-season camping and longer stays in mind.
A major highlight of this Redwood is its upgraded running gear, featuring MORryde independent suspension, 8,000-pound axles, and disc brakes. These substantial upgrades distinguish this 38GK from a typically equipped fifth wheel and are important features for buyers looking closely at suspension, braking, and running-gear capability.
The exterior features fiberglass construction, aluminum wheels, an automatic leveling system, exterior storage compartments, a rear roof-access ladder, multiple slide-outs, and two exterior awnings that provide additional covered space alongside the RV when set up at the campsite.
Step inside and you enter the main kitchen and living area, where opposing slides create an open residential-style floor plan. The rear living area provides sofa and recliner seating along with an entertainment center and fireplace. Large windows surround the living space, while overhead cabinetry provides additional storage throughout the area.
The kitchen is centered around a large island with a sink and additional countertop workspace. Surrounding cabinetry and drawers provide storage for cookware, dishes, and supplies. The kitchen also includes a refrigerator, microwave, three-burner cooking area, dishwasher, pantry storage, and additional counter space. A separate dining area provides dedicated seating for meals.
Moving forward from the main living area leads to the bathroom and private front bedroom. The bathroom includes a fiberglass shower, porcelain toilet, vanity with sink, medicine cabinet, linen storage, skylight, and ventilation.
Continuing forward brings you into the private front bedroom. The bedroom provides a dedicated sleeping area separated from the main living space, along with a large front wardrobe and additional cabinets and drawers for clothing and personal belongings.
With its upgraded MORryde independent suspension, 8,000-pound axles, and disc brakes, this Redwood stands apart from a typically equipped 38GK. Condition:
This 2015 Redwood 38GK appears to have been well cared for and is believed to be a two-owner unit. The sellers report no smoking or pets.
The tires are estimated to be approximately four to five years old.
The lead-acid batteries are approximately two to three years old.
Several updates have been completed during the sellers' ownership. The front air conditioner was replaced approximately three years ago, which was also the last reported shop service.
The induction cooktop was replaced around the same period.
The washer and dryer are present and, according to the sellers, have never been used. The dishwasher is also present but reportedly has never been used by the current owners.
The RV-style upholstery on the sofa does show some typical wear.
Significant running-gear upgrades include MORryde independent suspension, 8,000-pound axles, and disc brakes.
One area that should receive additional attention is swelling of the interior wall above the slide near the dining table and recliner area. This swelling is shown in the listing photographs. The seller states that it resulted from mechanical stress when the slide hung up during an auto-leveling incident and was not caused by water intrusion.
