2018 Interstate Lounge EXT, by Airstream. Luxury Class B with high end features, extended cab, solar, generator & rear power sofa bed!
Introducing one of the most luxurious and feature-packed Class B models on the market, a 2018 Airstream Interstate Lounge EXT with low miles.
Built on the heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis, this rear-wheel-drive touring coach offers a smooth, fuel-efficient ride perfect for long hauls or short getaways. The "EXT" extended chassis design provides an extra 24 inches of length over standard models, which is translated directly into increased rear storage space and a more expansive interior layout featuring four captain's chairs up front for comfortable group travel.
The heart of this coach is the versatile Lounge floorplan, which features a spacious galley equipped with a 2-burner cooktop, sink, and high-end cabinetry, alongside a European-style wet bath with a porcelain-flush toilet with macerator and an integrated 13-gallon black tank.
When it's time to settle in for the night, the motorized rear sofa converts at the touch of a button into an oversized 70" x 82" sleeping surface--larger than a residential queen--offering plenty of room for a restful night's sleep. To keep you comfortable off the grid, the unit is powered by a quiet Onan 2.5kW LP generator and 300 watts of rooftop solar with a 1000-watt inverter.
Onboard entertainment is equally impressive, featuring two widescreen Samsung LED HDTVs. One TV is positioned for passengers in the front captain's chairs, while a second unit serves the rear lounge area. Both are mounted on extendable, articulated brackets for perfect viewing angles and are paired with a Blu-Ray player.
The entire cabin is controlled by a state-of-the-art Multiplex Control System with a 7-inch master touchscreen that centralizes lighting, climate, and power management.
For drivers, the cockpit includes an 8-inch in-dash touchscreen with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, along with advanced safety features such as a 180-degree rear-view camera and side-view assist. This Interstate combines Airstream's legendary craftsmanship with Mercedes-Benz performance, making it the ultimate vehicle for those who refuse to compromise on comfort while exploring the open road.
