The 2018 SX195 is a compact 19-foot bowrider with an 8-foot beam, a dry weight of about 2,238 lbs, and room for eight.
Under the hatch sits Yamaha's 1.8L Super Vortex High Output (SVHO) supercharged four-stroke, driving a jet pump. Independent tests of this generation put it on plane in about 2.5 seconds, to 30 mph in the mid-5s, and near 52 mph on top -- with surprisingly efficient cruise for a jet. No exposed propeller. Draft around 13 inches. You can run skinny water, beach it, and let kids swim off the stern without a spinning blade in the mix.
Yamaha's articulating keel is the quiet hero. It helps the SX195 carve instead of slide, so turns stay planted when you're towing a tube or carving a slalom. Jet thrust plus that keel is why these boats feel more precise than older jet runabouts.
Deep bow seating with wrap-around combings, a roomy cockpit, a swivel helm chair, and a large two-tier swim platform with padded lounge and telescoping ladder. Sun pad aft. Bimini for shade. This boat is in very good condition and appears to be well maintained. With only 158 hours on the motor, she has many years of fun ahead of her.
The hull has a nice shine to it, and there were no noticeable nicks, scratches, or dings in the fiberglass. There is one spot on the front rub rail that was damaged while docking; photo shown in the ad.
Inside the boat, everything works as it should per the seller. The upholstery and flooring are in very good condition, showing little to no signs of wear. There is one speaker on the front starboard side that is worn, but it still works.
Of course, we always recommend that any buyer inspect the unit or have it independently surveyed to confirm its condition before purchase.
