1990 Bayliner 3888 Flybridge Motor Yacht, 2nd owner for 22 years. 2 ACs, Generator, and Twin US Marine 351ci V8 Inboard Engines. Many Upgrades.

This beautiful 1990 Bayliner 3888 Flybridge Motor Yacht represents a rare find in today's market, offering an incredibly stable coastal cruising platform that has been well cared for by just two owners across its entire lifespan.

Under it's current 22-year ownership, this vessel blends Bayliner's legendary space-maximizing design with extensive, high-value modern upgrades. The exterior profile is enhanced by a custom cockpit hardtop extension added in 2004, providing complete weather protection and significantly expanding the boat's year-round usability.

The entire cockpit area features newer marine carpeting, refreshed exterior brightwork, and an updated cockpit bolster. A stern-mounted Magma BBQ stands ready for entertaining, while the full canvas and premium Isinglass enclosure - custom crafted by West Coast Canvas in 2004 - remains in great condition.

Stepping through the sliding glass salon door, which is equipped with a custom bug screen for breezy evenings, you are greeted by an expansive, light-filled interior that feels like a much larger yacht. The salon and living spaces underwent a comprehensive aesthetic update in 2020, featuring completely reupholstered seating and stylish new custom-hung curtains. The layout offers an impressive overnight sleeping capacity for up to six guests across a spacious two-stateroom configuration.

Forward, the private master stateroom boasts a comfortable walk-around queen-size island berth alongside excellent storage. The clever mid-ship guest stateroom features a second double berth tucked under the salon floor. For additional guests, the large U-shaped salon dinette easily converts into an extra double bed.

Perfectly complementing this setup is a highly desirable dual-head layout, granting both cabins their own private marine toilet and vanity. The master head even includes an integrated bathtub and shower for ultimate onboard luxury.

Designed for long-range comfort or extended liveaboard stays, the boat features dual-zone air conditioning and heating systems for climate control in any weather.

The functional U-shaped galley is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, an electric stove, and an oven. Plumbing updates include replacing the original water tank with an 81-gallon polyethylene freshwater tank and upgrading to a new 50-gallon waste holding tank. Additionally, both original electric flush marine heads have been replaced with manual pump toilets.

Below deck, the engine bilge area has been thoroughly cleaned, painted, and sealed. Powerful performance is delivered by twin US Marine 351ci V8 inboard gas engines, with an estimated 1,000 to 1,200 lifetime hours. These direct-drive engines provide a smooth, stable ride across the modified-V hull, which boasts a generous 13-foot 5-inch beam.

When disconnected from shore power, an upgraded Westerbeke 7.0 BCGD marine generator with only 750 hours efficiently handles all onboard electrical loads and AC systems. The 12V electrical grid is supported by a five-battery bank (approximately five years old), consisting of one Group 27 dedicated generator starting battery, two 6-volt engine cranking batteries, and two 6-volt deep-cycle house batteries.

Complete with a snap-on canvas windshield cover to protect the forward lower helm windows, this flybridge motor yacht has many more years of enjoyment for its next owner.

Condition:
This Bayliner 3888 is visually in wonderful condition for the age of the vessel. All areas of the interior and exterior are clean and don't show any excessive wear or damage.

Regular maintenance has been performed on the twin US Marine inboard motors and the generator, including regular oil changes and impeller replacements.

The last bottom paint was completed approximately 4 years ago and the boat is due for a complete bottom inspection and service.
