Unmatched Stability, Unstoppable Shallow Performance
The 2023 Shallow Sport X3 is a highly specialized shallow-water fishing boat that blends the capabilities of a technical flats skiff with the ride quality of a larger bay boat.
It features a distinctive trimaran-style hull with a large center tunnel that delivers exceptional lift and stability. This design allows the boat to plane in as little as about 5 inches of water while still handling choppy bay conditions with surprising smoothness and control.
Built with 100% composite construction and a lightweight hull the X3 is both durable and performance-oriented, powered by a Suzuki 350 horsepower outboard. Its shallow draft - less than a foot at rest - makes it ideal for accessing backwater flats, marshes, and skinny coastal zones where other boats can't go.
The layout is purpose-built for serious anglers, offering a large forward casting deck, multiple insulated fish boxes, recirculating livewells, and abundant rod and gear storage. An elevated console position improves visibility when poling or running shallow water.
Overall, the 2023 Shallow Sport X3 stands out as an extremely versatile coastal fishing platform - equally capable of stalking redfish in inches of water or crossing open bays comfortably - making it a favorite among serious inshore anglers who demand both shallow draft performance and offshore toughness.
