Well maintained and updated! 1975 Pacemaker 48 Sportfish powered by twin Detroit Diesels!

1974 Pacemaker Sportfish -- Classic Sportfisherman with Extensive Upgrades

This 1975 Pacemaker Sportfish is a rare opportunity to own a classic sportfisherman that has been well cared for, maintained, and extensively upgraded throughout the years. With twin Detroit Diesel engines showing low 900 hours, this boat combines the character and proven design of a classic Pacemaker with numerous modern upgrades and amenities that make her equally suited for fishing, cruising, entertaining, and extended trips.

The boat features a bow pulpit, windlass, and substantial bow rail, providing both functionality and added safety when working around the bow. Custom lifting chines have been added to improve stability, lift, and fuel economy.

The spacious cockpit is designed with both fishing and entertaining in mind. Features include a large built-in transom fish box, fold-down cockpit steps for safer and easier boarding, a cockpit sink, and a convenient engine-room access directly from the cockpit

The boat is also equipped with rocket launchers on the bridge and massive spreader outriggers, making her well equipped for serious offshore fishing.

The engine room is clean and well maintained, with the bright white Detroit Diesel engines presenting extremely well. The boat has twin Detroit Diesel diesels with low 900 hours.

For extended cruising and time away from the dock, the boat is equipped with two particularly valuable pieces of equipment; a 20 kW generator and a watermaker.

Together, these systems provide the ability to spend extended periods on the water with considerably less dependence on shore facilities.

The interior has received extensive upgrades, giving the cabin a fresh, comfortable nautical appearance while retaining the character of the classic Pacemaker. Tasteful blue nautical carpeting and white vinyl wall coverings create a clean, bright interior.

One of the most significant interior modifications was relocating the original galley into the salon. The galley features custom cabinetry and countertops along with a full-size residential-style refrigerator, oven, flush-mounted microwave, and infrared cooktop.

With the galley relocated, the former galley space has been converted to provide two additional bunks, increasing the boat's sleeping capacity.

The primary stateroom is located amidships, while the forward stateroom provides sleeping accommodations for up to three.

There are two heads aboard. One has been completely remodeled and is ready to use, while the second is currently being used for storage and offers an opportunity for the next owner to finish it to their own specifications.

With three air-conditioning units, the cabin stays comfortable and cool after a long day on the water.

The bridge is well appointed and designed for both offshore operation and comfortable cruising. Equipment includes multiple multifunction displays (MFDs), radar, VHF, autopilot, and dual captain's chairs on pedestals.

The bridge layout provides a commanding view of the water while giving passengers a comfortable place to enjoy the ride.

A Rare Classic. It is increasingly difficult to find a classic sportfisherman that has been cared for, substantially upgraded, and equipped for both serious fishing and extended cruising.

This Pacemaker offers a unique combination of classic lines, proven Detroit Diesel power, extensive interior improvements, offshore fishing equipment, and long-range amenities.

A rare find with an impressive list of upgrades. Serious inquiries are welcome, and additional information and equipment details are available upon request.
