Description
This Key West has been on the market for more than 30 days (Sep 9th). If you are thinking of making an offer, submit it today and let's make a deal!
Lightly used 179 FS with Yamaha power and upgraded Garmin and Minn Kota electronics
This 2023 Key West 179 FS offers an appealing combination of very light use, Yamaha four-stroke power, and many seller upgrades. Powered by a Yamaha F115XB 115 HP four-stroke outboard, the seller reports using the boat for only six partial-day outings and estimates the engine has less than 30 hours.
Added equipment includes a Garmin ECHOMAP multifunction display with a transom-mounted transducer, Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor, and bimini top. Bennett Marine trim tabs, a stainless steel propeller, dual-battery setup, and onboard marine battery chargers further complement the package.
The 179 FS is designed to give buyers the fishing capability of a center console while remaining manageable for trailering, launching, storage, and family use. Key West equipped the model with an aerated livewell, raw-water washdown, molded anchor locker, bow casting deck, and extensive storage.
At the helm, the Garmin provides navigation and sonar capability, while Yamaha analog instrumentation, hydraulic steering, compass, switch panel, and engine controls are readily accessible. Seating includes the helm leaning-post arrangement, forward console seating, bow seating/casting areas, and folding aft seating.
Factory specifications for the 2023 179 FS include a 17'9" overall length, 7'4" beam, 12" draft, 15-degree deadrise, approximately 1,450-pound dry weight, 40-gallon fuel capacity, and six-person capacity.
A single-axle Magic Tilt aluminum trailer is included. The seller is selling because the boat simply is not getting enough use, and he now has access to his son's boats.
While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited surveyor and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent survey and your own personal trial run.
Condition:
This 2023 Key West 179 FS presents in better-than-expected condition for its age and reflects very light reported use.
The seller reports that all systems and equipment are functioning as intended with no known operational issues. The Yamaha F115XB was started during the media appointment.
The seller estimates approximately 30 engine hours based on his limited use. This boat is not equipped with an hour meter, so actual engine hours can be verified during inspection with a Yamaha diagnostic scan.
The boat is kept under a covered structure when not in use. Buyers are encouraged to verify all systems, operating hours, and condition during their inspection.
