Description
Updated with Raymarine autopilot! Garmin electronics, AC, TV, Solar system, all recent batteries and more!
This 1986 Ericson 35-3 is a performance-oriented cruiser with a comprehensive list of upgrades that support efficient sailing and comfortable time aboard.
The deck layout is set up for easy sail handling and offshore capability, featuring Andersen 46ST winches, a hydraulic backstay adjuster, roller-furling headsail, spinnaker hardware (spinnaker sail not included), masthead tricolor, deck lighting, solar panel, dodger rail ready for canvas, and a newer anchor windlass paired with a 44-lb Bruce anchor. Lazy jack hardware is installed.
The helm benefits from recently updated electronics, including a Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine displays, a B&G screen, and a Garmin depth sounder, with additional GPS, VHF, and SSB capability onboard.
Power comes from a Yanmar 3GM30F 28 HP diesel engine with approximately 600 hours, supported by forced hot-air diesel heat, hot and cold air conditioning, solar charging, and three house batteries. Cruising tankage includes 85 gallons of fresh water in three tanks, 40 gallons of fuel, and a 25-gallon holding tank with manual overboard discharge.
Below deck, the Ericson 35-3 offers a spacious and practical interior well suited for cruising or living aboard. The galley is equipped with a three-burner CNG stove and oven, refrigerator, and ice maker. The head includes a dedicated stand-up shower, a notable feature in this size range. Additional amenities include hot and cold pressure water, 12-volt fans throughout, a 32-inch TV, and updated interior wood paint, making this a versatile platform for club racing, coastal cruising, or extended time on the water.
While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited surveyor and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent survey and your own personal trial run.
Condition:
Both sails were serviced within the past six months and are reported by the owner to be in good condition. During the photo shoot, the Yanmar diesel started right up. The air conditioning was observed blowing strong and holding a steady temperature around 77F. All electronics powered on and appeared to be working on both shore power and the solar system. Interior upholstery appeared clean with no visible wear or tears.
