Why buy New? Excellent condition! 2002 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer - Powered by a 5.7L EFI Mercruiser with Bravo Three Outdrive - Lots of Upgrades!
The 2002 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer is a versatile and sleek mid-sized cruiser that feels right at home whether you're out for a weekend adventure or just cruising the coastline. At around 28 feet long (including the swim platform), it's big enough to offer comfort but still compact enough to be easily maneuverable.
Onboard, you'll find a spacious cockpit with wraparound seating and a convenient table for hanging out with friends or family. There's an upgraded bimini top for shade and a helm station with all the necessary controls.
The cabin below is cozy but functional, with enough room to sleep four. There's a V-shaped dinette at the bow that converts into a bed, a compact but usable galley with a microwave, sink, and mini-fridge, and a small enclosed head with a toilet and shower. Despite its size, Sea Ray has made the interior feel open and well-lit, thanks to the large windows and well-placed lighting.
The seller has made many upgrades on this beautiful Sea Ray, including a Bimini top, remote spotlight, floor kit on deck, LED bow navigation lights, Ritchie compass, 6-gallon hot water heater, windlass anchor rope, and a Simrad GPS system. The current owner has also recently had the cabin mid-berth and the captain's chair reupholstered.
Performance-wise, the 260 Sea Ray Sundancer comes with a MerCruiser 5.7 engine and Bravo Three stern drive, giving it plenty of power to get up on plane quickly. It handles smoothly on the water, making it great for both beginners and more experienced boaters.
In short, it's a solid all-around cruiser that blends comfort, style, and performance in a manageable size--a classic from Sea Ray's Sundancer line.
