Description
Tonanco 729 gear! 4k gallons fuel capacity! 35 kW Isuzu 4BG1 & 6 kW Yanmar gen sets! Packs 40k# in (1) fish hold, blast-frozen! Includes tuna puller!

The 1967 Don Larson has been a solid Commercial Fishing Vessel for years. The current Owner worked the vessel the last 3 seasons. The 57 foot solid steel hull has weathered multiple storms, and takes rough weather quite well for its small size. The Don Larson is capable of staying out at sea for over a month at a time.

This boat was formerly known as the Medallion and was used to fish salmon as well as tuna. It has been known to be a good catcher, an important detail in salmon and tuna fishing; needless to say, it has no problems catching fish.

Powered by a 6-71 Diesel Engine with 200 hp and 4,000 gallon fuel capacity that makes the long trips easy. Equipped with a Tonanco 35 kW Isuzu 4BG1 and a 6 kW Yanmar gen sets. With a 4O,000 lb fish hold that is blast-frozen capable - the Don Larson is ready to bring in the revenue.

While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited surveyor and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent survey and your own personal trial run.

Condition:
The Don Larson is ready to put to work as an additional boat to your current fleet or a perfect opportunity to start your own venture.

The vessel can use some scrubbing and paint but everything works and can be out fishing today. The Owner had the bottom painted a year an a half ago, but to get it back to its original classic look - it's been suggested that sand blasting the hull prior to the next paint would be of value.

The Don Larson also has tuna pullers along with electronics that includes VHF, GPS, computer, radar, sounder, plotter, and ComNav autopilot.
